The Theatre department is proud to publicly announce their musical for this school year, Hadestown –Teen Edition. This full-length Teen Edition of Anaïs Mitchell’s Hadestown. This intriguing and beautiful, but yet haunting, jazz-inflected folk opera delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Following two intertwining love stories that of the young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of the immortal King Hades and lady Persphone. Come follow Orpheus’ mythical quest to overcome Hades and regain the favor of his one true love, Eurydice. Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back.
The musical will perform Feb. 19-22, Feb. 26-Mar. 1, 2025. We will be having two school matinee’s as well on Feb. 25 & 27. We look forward to seeing you at the show.
